Fourth-generation synchrotron source provide a high photon flux density, facilitating 2D or 3D full-field imaging with high temporal resolution. This is also the case at ForMAX, where we have demonstrated the potential for MHz 2D and kHz 3D imaging with a few micron effective pixel size, see publication below. In practice, the Photron camera and rotation stage limit radioscopy and tomoscopy to approximately 100 kHz and 20 Hz, respectively. For better temporal resolution, users can bring their own equipment.
