End Stations

The FinEstBeAMS beamline has two branches. One of the branches can simultaneously host two end stations: gas-phase end station and photoluminescence end station. Either end station can be placed at the focus point of the beamline by sliding a movable frame. The gas-phase end station is designed for gas-phase targets and samples with high vapor pressure that are not suitable for ultra-high vacuum conditions. The photoluminescence end station is dedicated to photoluminescence studies of solid samples. The second branch is equipped with an end-station for ultra-high vacuum surface science studies (solid state end station).
