The access mode is only available for the Solid-State End Station. It is intended for short scientific experiments, the performance of which cannot typically wait for the next MAX IV proposal call, as well as for feasibility tests. Maximum 6 shifts (24 hrs) can be allocated for a single proposal, and only 2-3 fast-access proposals can be scheduled in each semester.
