MAX IV Laboratory – the workplace

MAX IV is located in the city of ideas, Lund. A place where academia, business, culture and nature thrive within cycling distance from each other. In addition, it’s only a 50-minute train ride away from the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, and 30-minutes from the international airport Kastrup.

The MAX IV facility, the largest and most ambitious Swedish investment in research infrastructure, is one of the brightest sources of X-rays worldwide and replaced the existing laboratory MAX I-III accelerators in 2016. Many see the opportunity to be a part of developing MAX IV reason enough to want to join the team, but it is not the only reason to consider.
