The ISSE workshop 2024 is the 12th meeting in a series, which was initiated by Michael Meissner in Berlin, 1999. The workshop is held under the patronage of the International Society for Sample Environment (ISSE) and is hosted by the MAX IV Laboratory and the European Spallation Source (ESS), Lund.
The focus of the workshop is on two main topics:
- Sample environments at neutron scattering facilities
- Sample environments at synchrotron radiation facilities
The realization of complex setups for the investigation of gaseous, liquid and solid samples in different physical and chemical environments as well as its standardization and modularity are core elements of large scale facilities to collect valuable data with high efficiency, precision and reliability in limited beamtime periods. We are looking forward to seeing many of interested people from science, engineering and industry to exchange new ideas and to intensify international cooperation.
See the programme and register at the event website (registration closes August 16).
