Single crystal X-ray diffraction at synchrotrons enables the determination of the atomic structure of crystalline materials. The single crystal diffractometer at the DanMAX beamline will help acquire high resolution 3D atomic structure data from crystals with dimensions of just a few micrometres.
The platform is supported by the Scandinavian Crystallography Service, which is a mail-in one-stop shop for obtaining synchrotron diffraction data.
This technique will boost competitive pharmaceutical and material research.
