Trans-national Access support for MAX IV users through CALIPSOplus
Users from outside Sweden can apply for travel and lodging support, for the duration of their beamtime at MAX IV, through CALIPSOplus, funded by the European Commission within the EU H2020.
The project runs from 1st May 2017 to 30th April 2021.
Users from any country outside Sweden can apply for transnational access under this programme. This includes, to a limited extend, users from outside the EU or the associated countries.
Users apply by selecting an option during the proposal submission process in DUO. In the selection of projects to receive TA support priority will be given to new users and to users from countries not having a synchrotron radiation facility. In addition priority will be given to young researchers in projects declaring strong needs for travel and subsistence support in order to have the manpower necessary to carry out the experiment.
Accommodation and travel expenses reimbursement:
Approved applications will receive housing and travel support for up to two team members per project. No additional cost can be covered.
Housing: When applying for an access card in DUO, after your beamtime has been scheduled, you will find a link to reserve a room for your stay.
Travel: You are kindly asked to make your own travel arrangements. Note that only travel to and from Lund within the territory of the Member States and Associated States can be reimbursed, on a level corresponding to economy class tickets.. Local travels during your stay can not be reimbursed.
Reimbursement: Please fill in the CALIPSOplus – MAX IV travel reimbursement form and send it, together with the original receipts, as indicated in the reimbursement form.
