The 7th Diffraction Limited Storage Ring (DLSR) Workshop will be hosted by the MAX IV Laboratory in Lund, Sweden on June 1-3, 2020.
Following the path of the previous meetings, both the technical challenges and the new research opportunities enabled by the new multibend achromat storage rings will be addressed at these two and a half-day workshop. Plenary and parallel oral session in combination with a poster session will focus on the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of accelerator, beamline, and experimental systems. Registration opens on 1 March.

The registration will open on the 1st of March and the workshop is free of charge. Participants are required to arrange their own travel and accommodation. Participants are encouraged to arrange the accommodation as early as possible as hotels in Lund can be fully booked during this season. The Workshop will take place in the Grand Auditorium of the LUX building (Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology) at Helgonavägen 3, 223 62 Lund which is close to the city centre of Lund and the central train station.
The closest international airport is Copenhagen Airport (CPH) in Denmark. It takes about 35 minutes from the airport to Lund Central Station by train. Train tickets can be purchased from the Swedish Skånetrafiken ticket machines or the Danish DSB ticket machines or DSB ticket office in the arrivals hall at Copenhagen Airport. Please note that there is passport control when travelling between Sweden and Denmark via the Öresund bridge. Make sure to always bring a valid passport when travelling between Denmark and Sweden.
The closest national airport is Sturup Malmö Airport (MMX). From Sturup, there are coaches (“Flygbussarna“) to Lund. The trip takes about 35 minutes.
The workshop will also include a site visit and a poster session at the MAX IV facility on the afternoon of Monday 1 June. Busses will be arranged between the sites.
