The MAX IV user meeting is the 35th in the history of MAX IV and will bring together synchrotron scientists, other experts and industry representatives from a wide range of fields to Lund. We anticipate more than 300 participants on site during the three days of the meeting.
This year we are introducing sponsorship packages, replacing the traditional vendor exhibition registration. Doing so allows us to significantly lower the participant fees for our scientific users and, most importantly, for student attendees. We know from evaluations from previous meetings that the high fee had a negative impact on the attendance of academic participants. An increased participation of the scientific community and the next generation of scientists is paramount for the utilization of the investment into our research infrastructure and our field’s scientific and technological development.

Sponsorship levels
Platinum sponsor conference package
(100 000 kr / ca. 8500€)
There will be one platinum sponsor and your company’s logo will be featured most prominently
- on all printed material of the conference.
This includes conference flyers and program - in the foyer
- on the opening slides of the meeting
- on the conference main page on the MAX IV website
- in (at least) one social media post sent out by MAX IV that your company can share via your channels. In addition, your speaker will be
- announced in a separate social media post, also featuring your company’s logo
You get a prominent space (2x3m) centrally in the exhibition area, where the coffee breaks will be held, to present your company with up to four conference registrations for representatives from your company or your guests, including the conference dinner.
Your company can freely dispose a 30 minutes slot in the plenary session on the first day, which you can use yourself or invite any speaker/ambassador of your choice.
Gold sponsor conference package
(50 000 kr / ca. 4300€)
There will be up to four gold sponsors and your company’s logo will be featured prominently
- on all printed material of the conference. This includes conference flyers and program
- in the foyer
- on the opening slides of the meeting
- on the conference main page on the MAX IV website
- in one social media post sent out by MAX IV that your company can share via your channels.
You get a prominent space (1x2m) close to the center in the exhibition area, where the coffee breaks will be held, to present your company with up to two conference registrations for representatives from your company or your guests, including the conference dinner.
Your company can freely dispose a 10 minutes session in the slot in the plenary session on the third day, which you can use yourself or invite any speaker/ambassador of your choice.
Silver sponsor conference package

You get a prominent space (1x2m) in the exhibition area, to present your company with up to two conference delegate places for representatives of your company or your guests, including the conference dinner.
Student poster prize sponsorship
(50 000kr/ ca. 4300€)
MAX IV has a traditional student poster competition, the prize includes a cash award of 8000 kr and an oral presentation at the third day of the meeting. The award is presented during the banquet on the second day of the meeting, mentioning your sponsorship.

- Your company will be mentioned in the program on all printed material and on the website where the poster competition is mentioned: in connection to the poster session, the banquet and the poster prize winner talk
