Attached to the Bloch ARPES end station is a ScientaOmicron VT-STM XA. Due to the design with a central transferring chamber, it is possible to transfer samples prepared and characterised in the different preparation chambers or samples measured in the photoemission chamber directly under vacuum into the STM for further surface characterisation.
