Getting here

Getting to MAX IV Laboratory from Copenhagen International Airport by train  to Lund C takes about 60 minutes. Please note that there are passport controls when entering the train and when entering Sweden.

The closest airport is Sturup Malmö Airport. From Sturup, there are coaches (“Flygbussarna“) to Lund. The trip takes about 35 minutes.

Lund University has an agreement with Ringduvetaxi AB.

The laboratory is located only a short ride by taxi or bus from Lund C. Click on the links below to find more information about trains to Lund C. The green city bus no. 20 stops directly outside the facility. It leaves every 10 minutes from Clemenstorget just opposite Lund C.

MAX IV is located in the northeast part of Lund, close to the motorways E22 and E6.

Visit MAXESS – our visitor centre

MAXESS is located between MAX IV and ESS at Odarslövs mölla 274, Lund.

MAXESS is our external visitor centre and accommodates organisations and the general public. At the centre, you are able to learn not only about MAX IV Laboratory but also about the European Spallation Source ERIC and Science Village Scandinavia. The center accommodates groups of 10–20 participants.

Getting to MAXESS

Bus no 20 leaving from Clemenstorget just across Lund Central station stops at MAXESS every 10 minutes, the bus stop is the last on the route, called ESS.

There is a parking lot at the MAXESS visitor center as well.
